I have a blue damsel of about 2.5" size, coral banded shrimp of about 3.5" (body size), a 2" ocellaris clown and a Sally lightfoot crab of about 2 inches. Would any if these be in danger? The other inhabitants are too large to be eaten. I think.

SeanH December 4, 2010 Author December 4, 2010 They'd all be in danger, no guarantee they'd be eaten though I suppose it depends how well fed I keep it eh?
L8 2 RISE December 4, 2010 December 4, 2010 No guarantee there, but I'm sure it would help, I've kept a snowflake moray in my tank for probably coming up on two years now and have never lost a fish to it and I just keep it well fed (once-twice a week). BTW, I'm not recommending that anyone keep an eel in a reef, you're asking for something bad to happen but I've decided it's worth the risk for me personally because even though the eel is the second cheapest fish I've ever bought, it's still my favorite.
Coral Hind December 4, 2010 December 4, 2010 I suppose it depends how well fed I keep it eh? Even with a full belly, if they decide that the fish will fit in it's mouth it may try to eat it. I would treat it like any other grouper.
