Coral Hind July 10, 2010 July 10, 2010 I've used Praziquantel that comes in a product called Fish Tapes by Thomas Labs. I don't know if anyone local has it but I know Foster & Smith carries it. You would have to catch the fish to q-tank them.
Jon Lazar July 10, 2010 July 10, 2010 IIRC, Jungle makes a food with praziquantel in it so you don't have to quarantine to administer as a bath.
F&Fmgr July 10, 2010 July 10, 2010 +1 on praziquantel, we use it preventatively. If it is a worm then keep the fish healthy, keep him eating and if all your params are straight then the food with garlic or even what Jon recommmended would be best. But intestenal parasites, IMEe stringy and WHITE.so I gas bumda$$ Rob gets a +2

angel not fish July 24, 2010 Author July 24, 2010 Now the parasite is coming out white, after I have had treated the fishes for 3 days with praziquantel from Jungle lab. Should I give the same medicine again ? The white chaeto look like comes out alive ? If its alive will contaminate other fishes ?
