zygote2k July 7, 2010 Share July 7, 2010 I ordered a custom skimmer from Justin and I'd like to say that it performs better than expected. It was made at 20" tall to fit a confined area. Thanks- I'll be ordering more.
Coral Hind July 7, 2010 Share July 7, 2010 Awesome! Was it just the height that was changed?
zygote2k July 7, 2010 Author Share July 7, 2010 It had to be 20" and have a footprint of 12"x8". Works like a beast.

Thanks- I'll be ordering more. Glad it's working well for you, Rob! Awesome! Was it just the height that was changed? It has a different base design as well, and the diffuser is a ring around a center drain area. This gives a lot more volume of the skimmer base to the diffuser area, rather than a tiny cylinder in the center like many skimmers. This is the skimmer that we'll likely be producing as a DIY kit in the fall. Easy to build, affordable, and great performance. awesome, you using the scicce (sp?) pump on it? Yes it has a Sicce pump.
