I want to split my return pump into 2 lines, what is the besy way to go about this..?

To two separate tanks or to the same tank? If separate, I'd just go with a manifold - a tee and a couple of ball valves. If to the same tank, I'd consider either a manifold or something like a WAV (Wave Action Valve) like what Bruce (bbyatv) makes.

It will be for the same tank.. Im not sure exactly what you mean by manifold.. If I go to lowes and tell them that will they know..?

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. I think we should start with the question of why do you need to split it?

I beleive you are talking about running two hoses, not pvc from your return pump to the two overflow returns? If so a Y adapter can be had for that too, it's nearthe tubing at HD or Lowes. Here is a video of LA fish guy hooking up what I beleive you are talking about, except his is coming from a chiller.

Its a RR tank, does that change anything..? Do I still use the return in the overflow as well if I used a tee or wye..?

That is exactly what I am looking to do.. I use a larger return from my sump and would like to split it to get some flow in the far corner without using another powerhead.. So where can I find that kind of "Y"..?

Yes, a wye would be a better choice than a tee for flow. Seriously, though, consider a WAV. It will alternate flow from one return to the other, setting up an alternating flow in your tank. The last I checked, Bruce had quite a deal on them.
