Do you have a Tyree sunset monti and a PAR meter?

If so, can you tell me what PAR your sunset monti has.....Mine has lost it's color and I think it is because I have decreased the light in my tank and I was hoping for a sampling of PAR numbers from people here.

I have much sunset monti, but no par meter. It likes a lot of light, though - the best looking pieces are about 6" under my T5's in a frag tank.

I have a Lanman not-so limited edition about a foot below T5s. The color is holding up. (I think) I still have good polyps extension though they are not as fat as they were in Bob's tank.

+1 I've got one that I got from Bob and it's doing great at the top of my tank. Bright colors with full polyp extension. It likes a lot of light.

i will second that, i got a Sunset from Bob a long time ago and i have it as close to the ligth and it loves it there. (it is under T5's also)

mine is not from Bob but it with in 10 inches of the water surface. I am running 250w 20k radiums.
