Ive been reading about using superglue to attach corals to rock, Ive always used specific "quarium glue", is this safe? ... what do you use?

Any Gel-type cyanoacrylate glue will work. IC Gel works well and reef-safe.

+1 superglue is fine.

Yup, you can use pretty much any superglue. I prefer the larger containers that are designed to be used with corals because of their size and the needle in the cap. Its almost impossible to get superglue in large amounts at retail stores. Here is what I usually get. Reef Glue GEL

I have been using IC gel, but recently switched to a new product that Nadir (fishnreef) carries on his site, it works as well as the IC gel but is a tad cheaper.

It is also SLIGHTLY more viscous than IC-Gel. Which means if you're gluing a dozen vertical (staghorn branch) frags, more of them can just be glued, set down and forgotten, and they won't fall over.

Gorilla brand gel superglue sucks as far as using in hobby aopplications, so avoid it.

 

One of the things on my list is to switch from regular household superglue for corals to a hobby glue because household superglue doesn't hold frags well enough for my satisfaction, and the tubes are terrible.... would like to know more about hobby glues.
