L8 2 RISE June 4, 2009 Author Share June 4, 2009 there isn't anywhere that I can get just the shaft?
Origami June 4, 2009 Share June 4, 2009 Normally, the shaft is packaged with the replacement impeller. However, you could try calling Danner and talking to see if they'll send you just the shaft: DANNER MANUFACTURING, INC. 160 Oval Drive Islandia, N.Y. 11749-1489 Phone: (631) 234-5261 Fax: (631) 234-4778
Boret June 4, 2009 Share June 4, 2009 Hey Sam, These guys sell carbon shafts that they make themselves. They are for Sicce pumps but I wonder if they will work with the mags or if they can make one that will work with it. For $7.50 shipping included seems a pretty good deal. L8 2 RISE June 7, 2009 Author Share June 7, 2009 ok, here's a question, I know lot's of people use, for example, mag 24 impellers on mag 12s. If I already have to buy a replacement impeller for a mag 7, can I go ahead and upgrade to a mag 9.5 or 12 impeller or is there more to it than that? L8 2 RISE June 7, 2009 Author Share June 7, 2009 oh, and BTW, I just realized that what I have is a mag 12 not a mag 7, so can I upgrade to a mag 18 or 24 impeller?
johnnybv June 8, 2009 Share June 8, 2009 Sam, I usually have the impeller and shaft set in stock, I can check for a mag 12 when I get back in on tuesday. john
tygger June 8, 2009 Share June 8, 2009 oh, and BTW, I just realized that what I have is a mag 12 not a mag 7, so can I upgrade to a mag 18 or 24 impeller? I think the pumps are actually different sizes... so you can't just switch impellers.
