xCGx January 24, 2009 January 24, 2009 I was off yesterday from work and thought I would sneak over there while the wife was at work to check it out. The store is very clean and well organized. I purchased a couple of fish and some other odd and ends. A few of the purchases did not work out and eventhough their policy clealy states that I would not be able to return the m, they did give me store credit. Just wanted to express my appreciation and hope that the other members have as good an experience as I did. Be sure to show them your WAMAS card as well.
flowerseller January 26, 2009 January 26, 2009 Wow. That's a lot for a cleaner wrasse. Not if it's a 4 line. I stopped in there for the first time day after Xmas. Very nice store and porbably the nicest selection of dry goods I've seen locally. All other live stock looked great too.
dschflier January 26, 2009 January 26, 2009 I am sorry my post was a mistake. I have been to, and really like Pristine aquariums but my post about the pricing was incorrect. I do however think the store is a very clean store and appears to have top quality products. I plan on getting out that way this week.

They do have a nice selection of dry goods which helps when you need something in an emergency. I have gotten four fish, including one cleaner wrasse, from Pristine in the last two weeks. All are healthy and eating fine. I was pleased to hear that they work with a vet that specializes in fish to ensure their livestock are healthy. To me a little extra in price is worth it when I know it has been through a Q-tank and a vet. Their location next to Home Depot is a plus too!
flowerseller January 26, 2009 January 26, 2009 I guess the pricing for the fish and other items was removed so we all look like Bozo's now. Nice. A good reason to prevent editing of posts, or at least having it say it was.
dschflier January 26, 2009 January 26, 2009 chip I think this is why it is important to allow editing. My mistake was honest I was thinking of a different LFS and when I realized my mistake it was important that I was able to remove the post.

flowerseller January 27, 2009 January 27, 2009 This thread is very confusing to my people. So it's not just what my neighbor was saying?
SeanCallan January 27, 2009 January 27, 2009 This thread is very confusing to my people. YOUR people? Slavery is illegal my friend, no man should own another. As for PA, I think it's a cool store, it's really clean, they have tons of dry goods, and the fish look healthy. The guys that work there are a good bunch and they'll gladly answer any questions you have. I was interested in some fish but wanted to see them eat first so they gladly fed them to show me. Quality store.
