Sugar Magnolia January 7, 2009 January 7, 2009 In this months Reefkeeping magazine. For those who haven't checked it out, it's pretty neat! http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-12/feature/index.php
zygote2k January 7, 2009 January 7, 2009 I used to have a microscope when I was a kid. Wish I had one now.
SeanCallan January 7, 2009 January 7, 2009 (edited) That stuff is neat! I've been thinking lately that I want to dedicate some DIY time to building a USB 600x microscope so I can play around in my aquarium. It would be fantastic to see the kind of bacterial cultures that exist in Zeovit, NeoZeo, and Prodibio. Theres always been a debate (with Zeovit at least) that there may not be any. Highland Reefer January 7, 2009 January 7, 2009 Any links with microscopic pictures for IDing common microalgae found in reef systems?
davelin315 January 7, 2009 January 7, 2009 Funny! We're just now looking at things from the tank in class under the microscopes! I posted some pictures in my tank thread in the education forum.
