Fed My Anemone a Firefish today...

I bought two firefish from BRK today that were begging for me to put in my reef. They went in and a damsel decided he didn't like them and chased one straight into my carpet anemone... I freaked out and tried to save the fish with reef prongs and a net... but it was too late...

 

The other firefish hopefully wont make the same mistake. This is the first time I have seen the anemone eat one of my fish.

 

I was cursing while the guy who rents a room downstairs was saying "wow, look at that, thats awesome... sorry dude... omg look at that... its eating it! .... I didn't know that thing did that... thats amazing"

I would chase the damsel into the anemone then buy another pair of firefish

Well... looks like the carpet got the other firefish last night... no more of those fish in my tank.

I had a firefish die in QT once and fed it to a green speckled BTA... had a blood red base... wicked cool.... only one I'd ever seen... died the next day.

 

I don't feed dead stuff to live stuff anymore.

what makes you think the anem won't either other fish sides the firefish?
