I decided to start a thread.

Got this set back up after my move. Loosing/lost one elegance coral and one hydnophora during the move, but that's about it. This will be up until the 150g can be assembled to replace it. Sorry, for the crappy pics. I will add more later. Batteries died.

Full tank (ignore wire showing, slime algae, dead things...lol)

very nice rock work. Beautiful tank.

+1

Are you using any epoxy, fiberglass rods, wire-ties, etc to hold up those structures?

(edited)

Thanks :)

The rocks are not held together with anything. The way they are placed there is no movement and are quite sturdy. Most are large pieces. I think there's only about 5 or 6 separate pieces of rock totaling 90lbs or so. I'll try to get better pics sometime next week or so when the red algae is hopefully gone (probably from a bulb change)...

A few from this morning. Still need to adjust some rocks and move a couple things around. Dirty dirty...

I plan to go zeo vit on the larger tank once it's up. i'm noticing the cyano seems to be declining as of today. mark gave me some stuff to help clear it up, but i haven't had to use it yet. i'll keep doing water changes and cleaning it the next few days before i take other steps. =)

Looking good!

Btw, what's this "stuff" your referring to? ;)

I used Chemi-clean. Only did half the dosage with the skimmer off and a 50% water change after 48 hours.

Tank is looking great. What was the Chemi-clean used for?

I was running 250w mh's and vho's, but now am using all T5's. Only actinics were on in the pics.

Re-worked the left side to free up middle area since I wasn't feeling lazy anymore. :)

I forgot about this thread... The 55g and my 150g are both gone now. Here is my 90g that is currently up and running until we buy a house and go bigger again. Enjoy, this is the end of this thread for now.
