flowerseller December 19, 2008 December 19, 2008 I know I'll sleep better tonight. And to think you blamed a poor emerald crab.

treesprite December 19, 2008 Author December 19, 2008 I have seen enough of the behavior of this batch of emerald crabs (4) to believe still that one purposefully took down my angel and the missing gramma. I watched one lay in wait poised for attck of a nass snail several hours ago, which it did pounce and flip and start to eat right in front of me, saw one eating one of my sally lightfoots. I had decent emeralds in the past which is why I got them this time with the belief that the worst they would do is pick at polyps if even that. but this is an exceptionally aweful bunch. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to have a firefish pair anymore - my understanding is that they don't easily bond and that more than one that is not in a pair will fight with other firefish. So now I need to replace the angel and gramma. I really liked the fish combination I had before their demise.
