For anyone interested Chris Brightwell is going to be at the next CMAS meeting this Sunday at 5 PM.

November 2nd 5pm

Chris Brightwell of Brightwell Aquatics

Bio:

Chris Brightwell has been an avid aquarium hobbyist for over 27 years. Much

of his childhood and adolescence was spent studying aquatic organisms,

setting the stage for his pursuit of an education in the Marine Sciences.

Chris earned a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Science from Coastal Carolina

University, focusing on the physiology, behavior, biology, and ecology of

fishes, as well as Marine Chemistry. After graduation, Chris was hired by

Kent Marine to take charge of research and product development, as well as

advanced technical support, a position he held for six years. In 2006,

Chris put the finishing touches on two books, The Nano-reef Handbook and

Marine Chemistry, A Complete Guide to Water Chemistry in Marine Aquariums,

both published by TFH Publications. In 2007, Chris founded Brightwell

Aquatics in Catawissa, PA, a company that focuses on aquarium water care and

nutritional supplements based on current understanding of Marine Biology,

Marine Chemistry, and Limnology as they pertain to aquarium husbandry.

Throughout his career in the aquarium industry, Chris has authored several

articles for domestic and international aquarium hobbyist periodicals,

consulted for aquaculture and mariculture operations, and spoken at numerous

aquarium club meetings and events.

Here is also a link to the meeting location.
