Eric its a toss up, the construction on the bubble kings is incredible, so far my experience has been very positive with their performance. I have a mini 200 in sump on my display 240 and love it. you are correct about the construction and feel. this is a sold product and over made. it was five times the price of my old skimmer,but 10 times better. Availabilty on the Bubble Kings will always be limited, and usually will have to be ordered with a slight wait for delivery. I have a Supermarin 250 in stock, that would be great for your system, it is rated from 260 - 795 gallon systems, and is in sump.
