reefhunter August 9, 2008 August 9, 2008 I am considering draining my 200 gallon to remove a fish or two. Anyone have any containers I can borrow? I am looking for maybe 3 50 gallons or 5 30 gallons... I have about 60 gallons here but I need about 140 gallons of additional.... cheap recommendations to buy them somewhere?
jason the filter freak August 9, 2008 August 9, 2008 See if you can find some one that has those huge rubber maid grey bins. I used a bunch of rubber maid totes, buckets, and steril trash cans to move and drain large amounts of water.
Sikryd August 9, 2008 August 9, 2008 I am in MD, otherwise I would load you my Pepsi container. All you would need is 2 pepsi containers and you would be golden. They were only $5, so you might thing about get a couple down the road.

davelin315 August 11, 2008 August 11, 2008 Hunter, I have a 125 gallon water storage container in my driveway you can borrow. It fits through wide doorways, too, so you could plop it next to your tank and drain that into it. I have some fittings, too, to hook it up to 1" pipe for a pump as well (it's threaded 1.25"). It needs to be cleaned as it was last used by someone to move a tank and they drained stuff into it, but that should be easy to take care of with a hose.
