I have in my opinion a large over 8" Green Tipped Anemone. It has kept me awake at night fearing it would roam my tank - it has moved around in the short period of time I had it.

 

We lost power for over 8 hours Monday night - not sure if that mattered, but I came how tonight and found that there are now two of them capable of keeping me up at night.

Yes, it once was a very rare blue anemone, alas I guess all the energy required to split it drained all that blue...

that was a little reefer joke.

If you look at the two pictures,

the first one was under actinics and the second one was not.

hence the color joke.

it really wasn't that funny anyway...
