lanman May 28, 2008 May 28, 2008 They say Geisseman on them... which makes some sense - they are a lighting company. bob

Gatortailale May 30, 2008 May 30, 2008 unless that is a large clam, I would guess that they are 250w double end HQI pendants. Hope you have a good job to afford the new tank, lights, skimmer, livestock you plan to get. Don't forget the electric bill increase when you go to run all this new equipment.
gmubeach May 30, 2008 May 30, 2008 I think hes 14 ? I started working at 16, but it was hard to make any decent money:)

You know... it's odd, but generally speaking in life - we afford what we choose to afford. I worked my 89-pound butt off in high school in the potato fields all one summer, moving 20-foot sections of 4" sprinkler pipe in order to purchase a motorcycle. By the end of the summer, all the college wrestlers had given it up as 'too hard' - and it was just me and the migrant workers. I always wanted things... HO trains, a new bicycle, cars, a motorcycle... I've worked since I was 10 (paper route) - and haven't been unemployed for more than two weeks since I was 14. And you don't want to KNOW how long that's been! I know people that have 'afforded' the most incredible things... like a Dodge VIPER on a $25,000/year salary. Living in a shared room, eating peanut butter and jelly. It's all about choices. bob
gmubeach May 31, 2008 May 31, 2008 You picked potatoes:) Thats a terribly hard way to affored a motercylce:) I know I bought a canoe at 16 on very narrow budget dragging hoeses to water a church they liked me so much they hired me on as a Janitor I payed my way through college!
