Clyde May 18, 2008 May 18, 2008 Sorry for so many posts. By asking I learn. I just broke up some of my rock and made some more real estate. After doing so I can not find one of my Tonga snails. If I put some rock on top of it while it was under the sand will it get itself out? I really like these snails.

After doing so I can not find one of my Tonga snails. If I put some rock on top of it while it was under the sand will it get itself out? I really like these snails. I have covered some of my snails over with rock and sand and in some cases they do re-appear. In other cases, I think they are wedged in with too much pressure and I have found them dead after removing a rock. One should never apologize for asking too many questions. One apologizes for not asking enough questions.
Larry Grenier May 19, 2008 May 19, 2008 Hey Clyde, I learn alot by reading asnwers to other folks questions.
jnguyen4007 May 19, 2008 May 19, 2008 It depends on how heavy were the rocks that you placed over them and how deep is your sandbed. If your sandbed is deep enough and if the rocks were light enough, they might be able to burrow their way out from under the rocks without any problem.
