MCo schools have more days off a year than you can shake a stick at. It takes a measley 2" of snow for schools to close for the day, and sometimes less than that. When I was a kid in MCo, school didn't get out for weather unless there was at least half a foot of snow on the ground, and then only for like 1 day. It takes a measley 2" of snow for schools to close for the day, and sometimes less than that. When I was a kid in MCo, school didn't get out for weather unless there was at least half a foot of snow on the ground, and then only for like 1 day. not anymore!!! we havent had a single snowday this year, and only had one last year AAAND!! 2-hour delays are a waste of a school day, you hardly get anything done, and its sad. :( but i like the sleeping in but we really shouldnt of had school today... i slipped and fell twice so did a friend but 3times, a teacher fell. we have portables... like 40 portables cuz our school is under construction so we have to walk outside. it was very dangerous. ppl were hospitalized in the area. and secretary of state broke his shoulder in this weather! thats all im sayin :P Edited February 14, 2008 by toastiireefs Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
