Aww. Ours flickered out at 8:30 AM but that's all. Hope it comes on soon!

My answering machine picked up, so it looks like I have power. From what I read in the post, there are about 17,999 people just like you.

Just off for a minute around noon here in Bethesda. Cable/internet was out all morning until around 2:00pm. Good luck.

Are you kidding me????? MCo schools have more days off a year than you can shake a stick at. It takes a measley 2" of snow for schools to close for the day, and sometimes less than that. When I was a kid in MCo, school didn't get out for weather unless there was at least half a foot of snow on the ground, and then only for like 1 day.

2-hour delays are a waste of a school day, you hardly get anything done, and its sad. :(

but i like the sleeping in

but we really shouldnt of had school today... i slipped and fell twice so did a friend but 3times, a teacher fell. we have portables... like 40 portables cuz our school is under construction so we have to walk outside. it was very dangerous.

ppl were hospitalized in the area. and secretary of state broke his shoulder in this weather!

Yep, at least you got that part right. It could have been worse though. Imagine being the Miss America contestant answering why 1/5 of Americans cannot locate the US on a map...
