I can't afford to make a power center like Dandy but I wanted to see if anyone saw any flaws on what I did make. I mounted a pressure treated board to the side of my tank with lock line links behind each screw as spacers. I zip tied these power strips to the board and then put a drip loop on each cord.

I actually have those two in the picture and then I have one more on the other side of my stand so that I don't need to have any cords going from one side of my stand to the other.

Looks fine to me -- I've got four of those in my stand :-)

Just make sure to have some of the wired dip down under the power center before plugging in. The white power cord looks like it needs a drip loop. Water could run down the cord and get directly to the surge protector.

Good call. The white one is a small fan right over the tank blowing towards the ballasts. I'm unplugging it now since it's too short to put a drip loop in place and could very easily drip. I'll have to look for a fan with a longer cord since I don't think it would be good to put an extension cord in the middle of the loop.

I had that problem and ended up wrapping duct tape around the connections - easier than trying to find something with a longer cord
