Start a new thread.

I was just waiting till i had a resonable interest so the next thread would be the offical thread dictating rules

Im in. Why dont you all just give me the stuff now? How about we bring a scale to BRK and weigh in once a week? We can update a WAMAS spreadsheet?

So its only $10 to join in? If so, count me in.

By the way, those fat loss monitors are not accurate at all. I know from experience. The same goes for those scales that supposedly do the same thing. The only real accurate way to do this is just total weight lost. It sounds like Byron is chicken.

I just weighed myself on it, and I come in at a whopping 320.5 lbs. With relative ease, I could get back down to my average weight of about 280 lbs. That means a % weight loss of 12.5 percent.

OK, If we are going by %, I'm in!!

I'm 210 now and want to get to at least 180 = 14.3%

ooops, I mean :bounce:

im sure that w/ as members that we have, SOME1 should have connections to a dunk tank. the fairest way to go is w/ % of FAT lost. if you go by total weight lost, people will start to loose muscle. once muscle is lost, it will be more difficult for the body to loose the unhealthy weight.

i do like the idea of going by % of fat lost. so if i understand it right, if fat body A has 15% body fat and drops it to 7.5%, they have a 50% body fat lost. if fat body B has 33% body fat, and drops to 11% body fat, they have lost 66% body fat. therefore, fat body B wins?

that being said, we cant pinch, tape or use an electronic device. we have to dunk our bodies to see who really is the fattest, and who would be the REAL WINNER of this impromtu compitition. :scuba:

im certainly intrigued and when there is a more acurate way considered to measure body fat, i'll be in!

You people clearly have never done something like this before. If we all sit on our buts and eat cheetos for the designated time then yes a dunk tank is going to be the most effective way to measure who has the slightest loss in body fat %.

What I am saying is.. This isn't going to be a contest because none of you is going to come even close to beating me and I am willing to put up a Deltec and $200 in live stock to prove it. I want a $10 entrance fee to go to wamas so we can make it an official Wamas Fat loss challenge. There are always going to be people throwing out excuses about how they didn't win because of XYZ. The point in the matter is it is going to be completely about will power. If you are worried about how we are going to calculate the BMI then please save yourself the 10 bucks.

So here it is again.

The person who looses the highest percentage of their body fat is the winner. BMI will be measured in three ways pinch test, hand held unit, and scale. It will be an avg of all three. I am willing to bet a Deltec Skimmer or calcium reactor(mce300, 600, ap600, 501, 601)and $200 in BrK livestock that no one will be able to beat me. If in the unlikely event that I tie with someone they will still win. (tie goes to the runner)

So right now I have 5 players

Doug

Howard

Tom C

Rocko

Mad max

Starting a new thread shortly look for it in refug
