HowardofNOVA April 12, 2007 Author Share April 12, 2007 OK OK OK, I got RID of the PINK sand! Updated with better pictures! Firefish #1 of pair bit the dust early on, #2 got chased out of the tank by I BELIEVE the Tail Spotted Blenny? Purple Firefish, Became MIA, not sure what happened to him early on. Possibly mate wasn't to happy with him? Questions on the LR: 100# of Pugani LR from Indonesia, AWESOME Stuff! I lucked into a deal from Chip that he got from a teardown tank. Saw at Wally's for around $8 per lb. Very open, light weight and great to work with. 4# of Blue Ridge Coral that I got from Marine Scene for $11 per lb. for my towers! Cool rock! 8-10# of Fiji. So about 115# of LR in tank. As you can see, it's viewable from 3 sides and on a 42" high stand! 5 x T5 Bulbs in tank with DIY kits from BRK. Very happy with growth and color. Skimmer is Chips Down Draft Skimmer running with MAG9.5 - Kicks A$$! DIY Kalk Doser with Drip Bottle and Calcium Reactor to be hooked up in near future! Flow by MAG18 into 1" SeaSwirl and 2 MJ1200, but looking for other ideas on this one soon.

HowardofNOVA June 29, 2007 Author Share June 29, 2007 Looking good! Do you see any aggression between your 2 tangs and the butterfly? So far when I've had time to watch, the B/W Hen. has been getting along "ok" with them, the Powder Blue who runs the roost is the most active! But they all stay out of his way. He has found the new layout it seems to his liking. Has been doing laps behind the rocks in circles on the back wall clockwise! ..funny thing is the B/W some times joins him and then turns around to go the opposite way and WATCH OUT! ...almost a few crashes on the bends! Thanks Rebecca!

HowardofNOVA February 27, 2008 Author Share February 27, 2008 Updates: After my battle with Ich around May, I lost 18 of 20 fish, only 1 Firefish and 4+yr old Female Perc survived. (I believe started after my move and I failed to re-hookup my UV Sterilizer for 5 wks) Lost a few nice pieces of corals over the fall, mostly unfortunately from my own neglect and busy schedules!
