KABALA November 12, 2004 Share November 12, 2004 Just curious anyones input on how many bulkheads would you use for a 125 with a mag 12 return? 1-2 incher? 2-1 inchers? 2-2 inchers. with max 6' of head not sure how to do all the math to make sure I have enough pump. eddi November 13, 2004 Share November 13, 2004 Mike, I have a MAG 24 running my 125. I have it teed off to two 1" returns. I am not sure what you mean by having back the pump down. Id prefer to since I like the water level in tank to be high no its full blast but it has around 3.5ft of head so it throttles itself back. i use 2 stand pipes and each pipe go into the sump separatly, as to prevent stuff clogging one and blocking the whole system up. the oveflow holes are high up, so i added strainers and have to tilt the elbow for max flow.
