have to agree....5th pic is clear with a great color balance....think you just need a steady hand when using the zoom feature. Have you tried with a tri-pod?

Hmmm not really i have one, but i never used

1. What camera are you using?

2. Are you using a tripod for close-ups?

3. What settings are u using?

1. Sony cyber-shot

2. i don't use tripod

3. i use automatic setup...

1. Cool

2. If you are doing macros, try using a tripod. Also try shooting the coral straight on. When shooting in marco mode. Pick a higher number for the aperature(f-stop) this will create more depth of field (more of the object is in focus)

3. Try using the camera on manual mode so that you can adjust the aperature to the lowest setting when shooting moving objects. This will give you a faster shutter speed so that it stops the action of the moving object and prevents blur. Also when shooting a moving obhect pan with the camera. In other words, floow the fish around while you shoot him/her.

Just a couple helpful hints.

WOV GREAT I WILL TRY AND POST WHAT I DO

Also with a Point and Shoot cam. Don't use the zoom feature. Just you the close-up setting. It is usally the little flower icon. Shoot as is, i find that using the zoom on a point and shoot only blurs it. Like chris said, use a tripod or a monopod, it really does help.

Take tons of pics, you can always trash the ones you don't like.
