I noticed my 120gap tank has a leak at bottom seam. When I move the pad it’s on it comes out . Need help with livestock and a plan. Anyone that can come over and help asap please text me.

my tank has vermid snails and aptasia only. No other pests. I have a couple 30gal brutes plus my frag tank.  I can leave frag tank running probably. This sucks. Not sure what I’m gonna do.

I cannot be of physical help. But I do have a 120 available immediately. I have a physical disability. So I can’t do the hobby I so desired. I also have the suction cups necessary for moving.

Sorry, Mike.  I'm all the way down in Fredericksburg, VA.  Do you have a couple of big bar clamps or long ratchet straps.  I've seen a guy hold a seam for a year with bar clamps and I've seen ratchet straps hold a 600g tank.

Hey Mike, sorry to hear that.  Unfortunately I’m a bit under the weather at the moment.  Tractor supply usually keeps those 100-150 gallon Rubbermaid stock tanks in store if you have one somewhat close by.  That’s always been my move for an emergency.  You can usually resell them for most of your money back.  Hope that helps.  Here’s a link: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/search/Rubbermaid 100 gallon?isIntSrch=written

Thanks,

Mike I.

Hey man, I unfortunately have to get to work, but rubbermade totes work as well, if you have enough heaters and simple pumps to keep water circulated, it can buy you some time until a more permanent-temporary system is put in place.

Sorry I saw this late after being in DC during the day, but I've moved to be just a bit south, good to hear things made it alright.

I got a 100gal brute from tractor supply. Everything moved over. Who wants a free 120gal with a leaky bottom left seam?

sounds like you’re in need of a 48”L x24”H aquarium? A Deep Blue 80 wouldn’t be as deep, but would fit the bill. IIRC you pretty much made a bulletproof stand and wall mounted in your basement?

Yea. My wall cutout is for a 4x2x2 without a brace. Maybe bite bullet and buy a new SCA tank so I can literally reuse everything including ghost overflow

Here is the 120 I have. If you are interested, my number is 240-498-9636. Text me. I’m in Glen Burnie. About 30 minutes away.

Thanks. I’m prob gonna buy new. I bought this tank used 3 years ago. Hoping to get one with fresh sealant and not deal with this in future. Thank you though.
