YHSublime January 27 January 27 Woke up this morning to my ATO screeching, and nothing on but my lights. EB8 is flashing orange. Says EB8 and DOS are part of 2 missing modules. All cords appear to be connected fine. I have rebooted several times. I have updated (the Apex and my browser) I have tried different ports. Here is what I am seeing: 1
WheresTheReef January 27 January 27 Flashing orange means it's in bootloader mode and trying to communicate. Have you unplugged the eb832's power cord and then plugged it back in after 30s? Check the yellow breaker button on the back of it? Try pressing it to make sure it isn't tripped. If the eb832 is ok, you might have to try to remove the module in fusion and then add it back. I had that happen once and it worked after that. The only thing is that you have to reprogram the outlets. It could be an issue with the eb832, but hopefully not. 1

WheresTheReef January 27 January 27 Ok, hope that works. Have you tried plugging the AquaBus cable into different ports on the head and also the eb832? 1

Gatortailale January 27 January 27 Were you using an outlet to control a heater directly, instead of running heating control via an Inkbird? I did this few years ago and over time the energy draw of heater and cycling caused by EB832 to fail. I think I've read about people on Facebook neptune group discussing way to fix bar. But expensive lesson to learn to not have outlet control a heater directly. Mine did similar thing of flashing lights. Mine still has power to some outlets so I pulled the interface control wire and just use as a constant on power outlet now.

I did adjust my light intensity by 10% last night though…
scott711 January 27 January 27 It sounds like a component failure with the EB8: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4CGFmTZ7tg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O8yrcxT2W4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkmkW0GfmDc
YHSublime January 30 Author January 30 Thanks for all the advice folks, I’ve resolved the issue today, you can’t make this stuff up. Power brown out dropped my mp40 power side, must have bumped my DOS, jostling the cord loose. The DOS connection caused the EB8 to not connect as a module, alongside the DOS as well. A reset, proper cable insertion, and everything is back to normal. I just noticed the MP wet side on the bottom of the tank today.
