ParrotFish January 20 January 20 I'm sure most of you have seen by now, but just in case; our area is predicted to get a significant amount of snow on Sunday. So check those batteries, generators, fuel. Plan for the best, prepare the worst. 2
YHSublime January 21 January 21 Good advice! I’ve got my inverter setup, with a spare battery waiting to go. We’ve been getting brown outs in my area, so I’ve got plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going as well!
menglish January 21 January 21 Right you are. Checking my systems and recharging my batteries in on the agenda for me.
nburg January 25 January 25 Fingers crossed DC doesn't have power issues since all the lines are underground, but I have my 2 KWH battery charged to 100% just in case!
Jgents January 25 January 25 Fingers crossed! Battery bank on standby... Generator on double standby.
davjbeas January 25 January 25 Lots of snow here in Reston. I have a battery backup on a MP40 and 4 battery powered air pumps for circulation. No power loss so far.
gastone January 26 January 26 Picked up a generator a few days ago. Wife thinks it's for the furnace. It's not. We've got a wood stove to stay warm. Hoping I don't have to use it at all.
