I'm sure most of you have seen by now, but just in case; our area is predicted to get a significant amount of snow on Sunday. So check those batteries, generators, fuel. Plan for the best, prepare the worst.

Good advice! I’ve got my inverter setup, with a spare battery waiting to go. We’ve been getting brown outs in my area, so I’ve got plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going as well!

Right you are.

Checking my systems and recharging my batteries in on the agenda for me.

Fingers crossed DC doesn't have power issues since all the lines are underground, but I have my 2 KWH battery charged to 100% just in case!

Fingers crossed! Battery bank on standby... Generator on double standby.

Lots of snow here in Reston. I have a battery backup on a MP40 and 4 battery powered air pumps for circulation.

No power loss so far.

Picked up a generator a few days ago.  Wife thinks it's for the furnace.  It's not.  We've got a wood stove to stay warm.  Hoping I don't have to use it at all.
