How to upload photos

Silly question but all of our photos/ files are too large to post. Do you have any tips on how to make the file size smaller?

What platform?  On desktop my preference is the tried and true irfanview, either for individual or batch conversion.

Usually we use pictures from our phones and try to upload them

On desktop browser I typically can upload whatever I want and the forum software resizes them upon upload.  I have only very rarely tried to post anything on phone and never one with photos.  Maybe the tapatalk interface would work better for image uploads from phone?

also  make sure that the pics are jpeg format
