Most of the silicones sold in HD have anti-mildew additives, I strongly recommend using an Aquarium safe product.

I highly reccommend Mozilla, if your anti Micro$uck like me! It's an open source code version of Netscape with out all the AOL crap, so it actually WORKS! http://www.mozilla.org
