Yeah. If you look at the other FTSs you can see a 6100 Stream on the Wavysea return. I had that pvc tee painted black (not at the time of the picture), but I have since taken off the Stream. The new elbow fitting is white, but I have one that will replace it that is drying from paint. I'm going to let it continue to dry for a few more days... especially because I can smell the paint on it even after 3 days. I also have a somewhat large rock structure curing at the moment. It's going to go on the left side, and a few of the acro frags you see on the sandbed will be going there. I added 4 new fish the other day - 1 Desjardini tang and 3 Carpenter's flasher wrasses. Jason, I'm free most evenings if you want to stop by.

I think 2x24w would be sufficient for a 20L. It'd leave some space on either end for less light hungry corals.

The aperture is 34/10 which is 3.4. It's different from the SLRs we are used to, and even the same f-stop doesn't mean the same thing because the sensor is a lot closer to the lens opening in a compact camera than a 35mm equivalent. So in this case 3.4 would be a lot narrower than we are used to thinking. That said, Dan, you still should be shooting at a higher (narrower) aperture to increase depth of field. That will/may require you to get a tripod or something sturdy if the shutter speed gets too slow. Also, you should be shooting in the highest quality possible, not "normal," (I know, at least, in Canon compacts there is low, normal, and high quality to determine amount of detail captured) and at the highest resolution too, if not already. Also, there are lots of blown highlights in the picture. That is probably from post processing the picture to blacken out the cabinetry... but you end up losing a lot of detail in the rocks and sand. Next time you can try underexposing the picture a bit, and then adjust the exposure manually on the computer. This way you can preserve more details.

Sorry, normally I'm home only during dawk and dusk times. Here's a picture with all the bulbs though: I've made some small changes, and I'm making a few more design changes within the next week or so. I'll update with pictures then. Chris, sorry I don't have pictures of the stand because it's just bare right now. I plan on finishing the skin by the end of April.

Sorry tbittner, I'm still trying to organize the sump and back areas. Still a complete mess.. Semi-new FTS (with background): I am about to swap out the ugly white fitting with a black one. I also added about 9 frags from Atlantis Aquarium since this picture.

I'm happy with my tank, but the attention to detail is no where as good as AGE, Miracles, or AO. The tank is well built though. If I could do it again, I'd pay the premium for one of those manufacturers for peace of mind. My experience overall has not been good. The first few calls were okay and decently polite, but the lady (I heard she is the owner's wife) is very rude and undependable. They gave me the runaround with the delivery date. It was supposed to be delivered 4 months before it actually was.

1 cup is 8 fluid ounces... a standard measure of volume. I'm guessing this is what Dave meant and not a random cup he has at home.

Thanks guys. I'm going to try my best to clean and organize the sump area, so I can take pictures of that too. I've been asked more than a few times haha... although it's nothing special. I also need to hook up the RDSB and refugium and then skin the stand.

Very healthy... I really like them, and they seem more friendly with other fish than the lyretails I have. I'm a little sad because I can't seem to find one of the 5. I saw her last night, so hopefully she's just on guard duty where they sleep haha. 3 - ATI Blue plus 2 - ATI AquaBlue 12000K Special 1 - UVL AquaSun 1 - Sfiligoi Super Actinic 03 1 - GE 6500K in each fixture. I think I'm gonna swap out the UVL AquaSun for another AquaBlue and the Super Actinic with another Blue Plus.

Oh, sorry... now I see what you meant. I read your post too fast, but yeah I don't have that extra brace either. Yeah... that's how I felt with my old tank. Way too little room for corals to grow. It was hard to imagine how much space the corals take up. I felt really bad because they started attacking each other. Some even swallowed others' branches :( But I guess that happens in cruel nature too

Thanks for all the compliments guys. There is no center brace. It's a rimless tank. It uses extra thick glass (3/4" thick) and there's an inside glass brace on the bottom pane.

Picture update! I adjusted the aquascape a little, but I am still planning on changing it up a bit more... especially on the right side. I got my fish shipiment from BZA this morning. Everything was healthy, and acclimating went smoothly. Tank pictures: Just two bulbs firing on each fixture. They are ATI Blue Plus. The return is temporary until I get my replacement WavySea. I'm also attaching a Tunze 6100 on the WavySea. (The fixtures were up high while I was rearranging the aquascape). Here is the fish stock list now: 1 Purple Tang 1 Yellow Tang 1 Yellow Eye Kole Tang 1 Christmas Wrasse 1 Six-line Wrasse 1 Flame Angel 1 Pixie Hawkfish 2 A. I agree. I am hoping for the best with this order, but like other people have said, I wouldn't buy again. Mostly from the stress of worrying. And I love the look of the AGE brand tanks. Amazing (for a premium price of course).
