  1. I am getting out of the hobby. I initially purchased a nano aquarium for my Father. He passed away due to cancer in Oct 2010. Currently, I'm way to busy to upkeep my reef aquarium due to my family moving to a new home as well as college keeping me busy. Here's what I have for sale: 34 Gallon Solana Cube Setup (includes: Tank/Black Stand/150w Dome Metal Halide light/Euroreef Nano Skimmer) - $250 EcoTech Vortech MP10 (with the blue control box) - $140 Roughly 35-40lb of liverock - $70 Orange Ocellaris and Black Ocellaris Clownfish Pair $55 Medium/Large Rose Bulb Anemone $75 Medium/Large Green Sinulara - $30 Neon Green bubble coral - $55 Large Wall Green Hammer coral (Very nice piece) - $90 Large Short Green tentacle Leather - $40 Green Center Candy canes - $20 (10-11 heads) I also have a 4.5" Japanese Swallowtail angelfish for $60. I just sold my other tank setup few weeks ago on craigslist. Located in Centreville, VA.
  2. Can you send me a PM with your contact info. I might be interested in some corals too
  3. Lasers is a backronym for "Love Always Shines, Everytime Remember to Smile". Here's some pictures I took with my Nikon.
  4. If I don't find a clip on Metal Halide, I will let you guys know. Thank you 70w Metal halide will work as well.
  5. Thank you for the offer, but I was looking at my tank, and there's no way of me hanging a pendant. If anyone has a clip on metal halide please let me know. Thank you, Mohsin
  6. My ballast stopped working yesterday, and it is going to take a week for JBJ to send a replacement. I'm looking to borrow a 150w MH light, preferably a clip on. Please let me know as soon as possible. Thanks, Mohsin
  7. Thanks guys. I'm definitely not letting my dad go in the tank. The tank is for him just to turn the lights on, feed the fish, choose coral/fish, and watch everything grow. Here's a few pictures I took today..
  8. I recently bought this aquarium for my dad whom was diagnosed with cancer. I thought it would be a good idea to have, since he was always interested by saltwater fish, and it gives him something to do while he's here at home. I plan on buying a few more fish, and when the water parameters are perfect, I will be adding numerous LPS and a few clams. Aquarium Details: 28 Gallon JBJ Nano-cube HQI Lighting - 150w Metal Halide 20k Flow - 2 Maxi-Jet 900's Filtration - Stock JBJ Protein skimmer Cooling - JBJ Mini Arctica Chiller (4) Cooling Fans Livestock: Ocellaris Clownfish Tail-spot Blenny Candy Hogfish Sand Sifting Sea Star Rose Bulb Anemone 10 Blue Legged crabs Pictures will be added shortly..
  9. I would be interested in a tiny-small orange ocellaris. If you can bring one to the meeting that would be great. Let me know. Thanks
  10. I have a clownfish that came with the tank setup I bought. Anybody know if it's an ocellaris or percula? Here's a picture: Thanks, Mohsin
  11. I'm looking at different options for my next aquarium. Does anyone know if Bob (YBeNormal) is still in the area and if he still does carpentry on the side. Any other members that can make a simple stand and canopy for an aquarium less than 40 gallons. Please let me know. Thanks, Mohsin
  12. What kind of liverock did you use? Are they Marco Rocks?
  13. I purchased a Nikon D40 w/ 18-55mm lens. I'm bascially going to use this camera for family gatherings, weddings, and sometimes wildlife. Later on, I may get back into the hobby, and will use this camera to take marine photography as well. Max I want to spend is $300 for a new lens. Any lens worth reccomending? Thanks, Mohsin
  14. I sent him a pm. Thanks everyone.
