Fintastic's success can be inconsistent, as they do not quarantine any fish. It appears that they receive shipments throughout the week and immediately offer them for sale. I have experienced losses with several fish purchased from them during the quarantine process and have since opted to order from alternative suppliers.
I just cleaned my 55 gallon storage tank full of build up from mixing salt. Bought some citric acid powder from Amazon, let it sit over night. I then gave it a good cleaning with a power washer.
I battled hair algae for over 1 year, did the manual scrubbing thing, water changes, and lots of clean up crew. I won the battle by adding a algae scrubber.

Following alone. I also cannot seem to figure out how much Kalk and when to add more kalk to a reactor. I just went the cheap way and mix up a maximum saturation point of 2 teaspoons per gallon into a 5-gallon container and dose 2800ML per day. My Alk is around 8.8 give or take with a PH of 8.4-8.6
