Just out of curiosity, does anyone here still use ESV B-ionic for 2 Part? I used it years ago and stayed with it for the 57 I set up in Jan but am wondering if I'm using old "tech". Has anyone used both ESV and Red Sea Foundation? Thoughts? Thanks!

Really hoping that isn't the case but that won't change my mind on the purchase. Nice step up from the 40 Breeder.

Hi Folks, I'm the proud owner of a new to me but used tank. I gave the tank a good vinegar bath/scraping and got the vast bulk of the calcium deposits off. However, I have not been able to clean off the film that was primarily north of the water line. I've included a picture but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for getting this stuff off. Thanks for the help!

Bill - really beautiful tank and admire the automation. I'm setting up a mixing station and was wondering if you've seen precipitation of carbonate building up in your SW tank over time with Instant Ocean. I'm using Red Sea Coral Pro and saw a nice dusting in a 5g bucket after 2 days - [grrr].
