  1. I actually still have a 402 that I use...It's about 25 years old. I use it to pump water from my mixing can to the tank. While they don't have a high flow rating the narrow nozzle has a good kick at the muzzle. I'm pretty sure these came out in response to folks getting sick of driving their under gravel filters with air stones!
  2. Holy smokes that’s way out of my league! I’m with epleeds here, I’d probably go with acrylic. At 12x4 that would be a really thick piece of glass to keep it from bowing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I agree with epleeds here. For a long rimless use 3/4”. I got a quote fro ReefSavvy a couple of years ago and for a 4’ rimless they were fine with 1/2”. Once I asked for 5’ they said they’d do it in 3/4”. That calculator has a field for safety factor and that also drives the thickness. It’s pretty straight forward, the lower the safety factor, the more you risk a flood. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. It’s healthy and have had this stuff for a few months. I’m really just curious if anyone has ever seen anything like this and if there’s any harm scraping it off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Pictured below is one of my frogs pawns that has a weird slime below the base of the stalks that goes all the way down to the plug. Anyone have a clue on what this is? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. No need to dig. Thanks for the info! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Awesome looking piece! I’m Curious about the kessil’s intensity you’re running and the depth of the tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Hi Bruce - Just out of curiosity, how did you get rid of all of those shrooms? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. If we’re talking about maxi-mini nems, I don’t agree with them being NPS. I had a maxi-mini that I got at 4” and grew it to 6” with sparse feeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I watched a snowflake eat a sebae clown in my first tank when I was a teenager. It was probably my fault, since I was a little late feeding. So the lesson was yes they’ll eat fish in your tank, especially if you’re lax on feeding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I am so bummed I missed this. Would have been a great way to spend the day.
