  1. Well I lost most of my fish and shrimp in the move. I am grateful that the leopard wrasse and yellow assessor survived.
  2. My worst fear for sure. Can u transfer everything into a bin or tub. Like a storage container? Doesn't have to be glass. I bought a waterhog rug which seems to hold quite a bit of water. Run some fans to dry the area. Hope all is ok in the apartment below. Eek. Good luck
  3. Well.... leak check turned up several issues. Very glad it was only tap water and my fish and corals are still safe in their temporary home. Disassembled the overflow and a union that was leaking. Turns out I wasn’t tracking my gaskets very well and had them either completely missing or in the wrong location. So.... trying again tomorrow. Wish me luck
  4. Thanks. Wish I could take credit for those walls. I grew up in this house. My parents installed those pine logs walls. My brother slaved over stripping the bark. Luckily I was younger and got away without having to anything.
  5. So I’ve removed my old 120 gallon long tank... well movers removed it. They moved my new purchase 100g CDA tank with 80/20 stand. Here are a pic or 2 of the old and new. Then this weekend, I plumbed it to my original sump. Trying out red pipes. My wonderful friend Lynne helped me figure it out. The red pipes were on clearance in 24” lengths. I ended up using all of the 1” and have 3 sections 2” left over. I’ll post later when I put the old tank inhabitants back in.
  6. Definitely with you. Flooded too many times. I use a dial switch now. Like on garden hose Amazon. Orbit 62034 Mechanical Watering Timer

We like to give members time to meet and talk before the meeting starts. We will have the club meeting first to go over upcoming events, club info and give people an opportunity to talk about tank issues they are having. I am looking forward to meeting you. Thanks for the bump -sheleen
