Hatchling

Hatchling (3/13)

  1. Thanks, epleeds, for the tubes. I had to buy a couple of new rolls because my old ones got too stretched out from the wash. The get narrower as they stretch, and water flows around the sides, despite me plugging up the outermost holes. So I don't need any tubes. Thanks.
  2. I recently bought some snails (Trochus and Bumble Bee) along with fish from Dr Reef Quarantined Fish, https://drreefsquarantinedfish.com/. All of their inverts are quarantined, but probably not for months. Their website says $60 for shipping, free if over $500. Most snails are sold in lots of 10 or 25. Gold Ring Cowries, however, are $20 each. I have not had good success shipping USPS from Reef Cleaners. I also bought snails a couple of times recently from AquaHaus in Springfield and was happy with them, but his quarantine process isn't as rigorous as Dr. Reef's.
  3. Thanks, Adam! I'll try to stop by tomorrow!
  4. Is Aquahaus still in business?
  5. Tried going to richmondreefers.com, but redirected to Go Daddy. Are they still active? New website? Thanks
  6. Is it 6"? We'll be in Nokesville tomorrow, Sunday. Will you be around, say 12:30pm?
  7. Thanks! Double checking: is it 6" long? Would you mind holding on to it for a a couple of weeks until I or someone can come get it?
  8. Yes. I want to wind my now-clean fleece back onto the tube.
  9. I just washed my clarisea fleece, and I must have thrown the old tube away. Does anyone have a leftover 6" tube I could have? I could use 3, so please reply even if someone else does. If you're near Fredericksburg, VA, I could swing by to pick them up. Otherwise I'd be happy to pay postage. Thanks much. Keith
