  2. Just wanted to start a thread for people using or thinking of using the zeovit system. This could also help for questions and answers. ZEOvit is a ULNS system. I started my 120g with ZEOvit products (zeolites, zeostart, and zeobak) and dry rock, dry sand. Currently im almost 2 months into the cycle and getting some brown algae on certain rock areas. This is a normal process for the first few months. Is anyone else in WAMAS also using this, if so please keep us updated on your experiences. Pictures are always a bonus.
  3. Update-the other day I swapped 50% of my zeolites, 20g water change, and brought dKA to 8.2, Mg to 1260, CA to 450, phos-.03, nitrate 5. Everything is happy with polyps out. My acans still seem a little flat, but the Wilsoni is doing great. I also added a bunch of coral a few days ago. I'm starting to get another brown algae breakout, probably because I'm running my MH lights for the full 4 hours. I hope it goes away in a week. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  4. Very nice! Congratulations!!!!! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  6. I figured the blonde naso tang was enought, but I was wrong Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. He is super thin and is not very active. He won't eat food, or pick at the tang. I dot know how to help him. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. I forgot to type cleaner wrasse too. It's in there to help maintain other tank mates in the future. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. Blone naso tang, cleaner shrimp, and fighting conch snail to start it off. More to come slowley... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  10. Added some life. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks. I aquascaped a little bit. I'm 2 weeks into the Zeovit cycle, so it's safe to add livestock. In went a blonde naso and a cleaner wrasse. I still gotta get a clean up crew and a few more things. Doing it slowly is what I've learned Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  12. I'm in the same boat! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  13. Update, water is in, zeovit is started....Skimmer impeller broke, so waiting on a new one there. Metal Halides and T5 looks better in person. I still have to aquascape. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  14. UPDATE-SO I have been filling with ro/di water for th past week. I can only add about 15gal per day due to work schedule and the speed of my ro/di system. I added sand after rinsing, and still have merkey water. Should have enough in there tonight to start the sump and filtration. I have also been trying to figure out my aquascape. So drilling and pasting a few things. I'm trying to keep a minimalistic look with shelfs so some sps can table. I'll post more pics once the water clears up. I will also start dosing zeovit-zeolite, zeostart, and zeobak Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  15. Haha, yeah I have 2-7 gallon juggs. So I can only make like 20 gal a day. It's taking forever Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  16. Door dimensions are 20x30" Now I'm adding the water for my build. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  17. I appreciate the feedback people. The petco near me doesn't have to special grade aggregate that I'm looking for. And I would take free stuff, except I'm running zeovit so I'm starting from scratch to keep it a very low nutrient tank. I may have to buy some on marinedepot. That's the only place I've found it. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  18. Shouldn't you bleach before you soak in acid? Also curious on your soak time because I just did mine the other day and soaked for an hour or two. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  19. Yeah, thanks. I was going to give local shops a try first, but I might have to go to the interweb Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  20. Quick post, looking for dry sand-not live sand. Are they any local shops in the area that may carry this? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  21. Do you carry dry sand? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  22. Now I'm looking for tonga branch and flat shelf dry rock if ANYONE has any for sale. PM me. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  23. Haha design specs and cut list......um, it was in my head and I just had to triple check all measurements. As far as the bottom black trim of the glass, I just mounted my shelf over an inch higher. Boom, solved that issue! Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  24. Yes their open, but not too much to offer. Waiting for new shipment Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
