  1. I bought 3 things from them and I only 1 thing made it. It's hit or miss. But for a few dollars it's worth a shot. You might be successful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. It looks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. No not a high concentration but something to help the tang combat the ich. I finally caught him and did a FW dip and now he is in a bucket till I set up the hospital tank. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. With the exception of my tang who has black ich, with white ich, I leave the fish in the tank. I feel leaving them in and helping them fight it, I use focus and Metroconizole(sp?) to help fight it, it builds up their defense against another out break if it were to occur. 6. Does anyone know where I can get Formalin locally from Richmond to Springfield? My orange shoulder has black ich. Tried to treat him for about 4-5 days with focus and Metroconizole in hopes he could just beat it on his own but no luck. So he had had a FW dip today and is chillin in a bucket until I can set up a QT tank for him today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. They are really good together. I was nervous that they would hate each other but they are happy together. So besides from the tangs being too big for the tank, do you mean that many fish is okay for now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I added a male mandarin to my tank today and I think I may have hit or maxed my bio load. What do you think? Juv Orange shoulder tang, < 6" Juv Desjardini < 5" 2 juv clowns both under 2" 1 chromis, 3" 1 yellow tail damsel 1.5" Zebra goby Lawnmower blenny Male and female dragonet I have a huge clean up crew. Running a biodenitrator, Eshopp 350 protein skimmer and will be setting up a GFO reactor. It's a 75 gallon with about 100+ of live rock. Once the tangs get bigger, I will be selling if I don't get a bigger tank. And I have this guy but not sure if the he has a big foot print or not. It's a hermit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I was doing the NO3:PO4-X from Red Sea but after going 1/2 way through the second bottle I was over it. I want to try vodka dosing but it scared me a little cause with my luck I would forget a day. I feed twice a day. Pellets in the morning for my orange shoulder tang, Blenny and shrimp/crabs and Brine at night for everyone else. I use the Ref Sea test kits. I haven't done pellets and can't decide if I want to try a GFO or Algae Scrubber Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Will the leaching ever stop? I did have high phosphates after adding a softball size rock a while back but didn't think it was that. I can't pull it out cause it's now buried under the rock wall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have a 75 gallon with a 30 gallon sump. I use RO/DI wanted and I check the new water coming out ever few weeks to make sure everything is okay as I have well water. Phosphates: .64 Nitrates: .05 Nitrites:0 Ammonia:0 Ph:7.8 I've ways had higher nitrates as well but have been running a biodenitrator made and it's taking care of the problem, well starting too. I have 9 fish in the tank, but the only good size one is a juvenile orange shoulder tang, yes I know he will get big, but he's still tiny. The other fish are small, damsel, dragonette, baby clowns, etc. The only algae in the tank is some bubble algae and coraline. Should I get an algae scrubber to help? 12. I have really high phosphates and have for a while. I have tried everything to get them down to zero, but they steadily hold at .64. I've done massive water changes and got it to go down to .40 for a week, added Redsea additives, pellets, sponges, etc and nothing has helped. Is there anything else I can try to get them down or should I even worry about it? Denise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I have a hood over the tank. She got out where the filter hole is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The female jumped out of the tank twice and the last time I wasn't home :(. But I got two baby clowns with some cool markings, one has a white spot in the middle of a black line and the other has black spots, so hopefully the offspring will have amazing markings! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Now the female is not eating and is just hosting like crazy in the Nem like she can't get enough of it. Any ideas to what's going on? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Well the little man is dead [emoji17]. I checked and ammonia, nitrate, nitrite and phosphate are zero and the Ph is 8.2. I have no idea what happened and now she isn't eating. Should I wait to see how she does or get her a new mate right away? I was thinking about getting a juvenile tomato tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I am going to try peas tonight if he's still alive when I get home. Should I do frozen peas or baby food? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I have a new to me tomato clown pair. The clowns themselves are several years old. The tank they are in is about a month old with new sand but a live rock that their anemone is on so that's old. Everything has been fine except for the occasional lovers spat. Last night when I went to feed them, the male is swimming on his side, upside down and then right side up all over the tank. He is not floating to the top of the water so I am not thinking swim bladder. I did a 3 gallon water change, it's a 10 gallon tank and there is no change in him. The female is fine and acting normal and the Nem looks fine as well. Any ideas? Can't check the parameters of the water right now but when I checked Sunday everything was 0. 19. I have 3 nano tanks set up. Not cool ones like a JBJ but just regular ones bought from Petco. Each one has submersible filters with a flow bar, but the surface has a film on top from particles not being skimmed. Any suggestions what I can add to get this removed? I use to just put a regular fresh water HOB filter and never had this issue. Thanks Denise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I have a brittle star and my harlequin doesn't go any where near it. To be honest my shrimp generally stays in one spot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. That is incredible and exciting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
