  1. We have a 12" Wave Point LED lamp (about $25) and the pictured LED is a 17" Ecotech of unknown model (~$10). We do have a 36" t-5 lamp that takes six bulbs (possibly an old AquaticLife? currently fitted with 2 Blue Plus, 1 Actinic, 1 Purple Plus, 1 Coral Plus, and 1 Aquablue Special) , we're looking for somewhere around $120 for the lamp and bulbs. All three are in perfect working condition. Again, these prices are suggestions, and we'll take any offer we think is fair.

  2. We've accumulated a lot of used parts over the years, and need to make some room for newer and prettier things. We've got lights, pumps, RO/DI parts, wave makers, used sumps, and miscellaneous parts

Reef eScape is open for retail Fridays from 2pm - 6pm and Saturdays from 10am - 4pm. Come on in and pick something out, no reasonable offer will be declined! Everything must go!

A small sampling of our used equipment shelf and some suggested prices:

    36" Nova Extreme T5 fixture - $80
    24" Coralife fixture - $40
    Neptune Aqua Controller - $40
    BlueLine 30x pump - $50
    BlueLine 30x pump - $50
    RO/DI units - $30 each
Natural Wave pump timer - $20

SmartPaq retrofit light kit - $40

    ExoTech LED strip - $10

Please let us know if you have any questions about a particular item or its condition!
  3. Just wanted to let everyone know that we have several Sea Hares in stock right now to eat away your algae woes.

Also got in a bunch of coral and several large fish shipments this week, going through quarantine right now.

  4. Looks like "Mitra mitra", I've seen it marketed as an "Orange Spotted Sand Sifting Snail".  They're predatory and can eat your other snails and/or clams, in theory.  Also will probably eat worms, etc.  Cool snail, just not sure that it's suited to your average reef tank.  I could be wrong though.

  5. Earlier today we posted a sale on our forum because we are trying to clean out our coral system for renovations.  We forgot that Incredible Corals was already having a sale and Pig Roast this weekend and we were absolutely not trying to interfere.  We support and appreciate the value of all of our fellow vendors and partners here on WAMAS, we understand that this was irresponsible and disrespectful on our part and we're extremely sorry.  We get our custom sumps from Artfully Acrylic and love the work that Adam does!  If anyone is looking for anything acrylic, he's your man.  We also love the set up that Incredible Corals has and strongly suggest you check them out!

In order to support IC/AA this weekend, we will be offering a free frag for anyone who comes in with a receipt from this weekends Pig Roast!  No purchase at all necessary.  We will also open on Sunday 10:00-2:00, in addition to our Saturday hours, so that you do not have to choose between sales.  (see our sale thread here: http://wamas.org/forums/topic/66927-0-10-sale-at-reef-escape/)

We're extremely sorry for this mix up and we hope you will check out Incredible Corals this weekend!  As you've heard from others, it's well worth the trip and they even have food!

  6. UPDATE:

Sorry, we didn't realize Incredible Corals was also having their sale this weekend.  We don't want to interfere, SO we will also be open THIS SUNDAY (in addition to 10-4 Saturday)!

Hours will be 10:00-2:00 AND if you bring in a receipt from Incredible Corals, you will automatically receive a free frag! (while supplies last... We still had at least 30 free frags at the end of today and we continue to add more).

  7. Brittany and I just finished organizing and fragging everything!  You won't want to miss these prices!  Both frag tanks (8 ft by 2 ft) are full of $10 frags, $5 frags, and FREE FRAGS (one free frag for each frag you pay for).  We really aren't kidding here, EVERYTHING needs to go!  The 400 coral tank is full of colonies that will be fragged on demand ($10 frags).

    For an idea:

20-30 polyp purple death paly frags: $10

10-20 head blastomussa merletti frags: $5-$10

    1-10 head frogspawn frags FREE-$10

    SPS frags free-$10

2-3 inch ORA Frogskin frags $5-$10

ZOA COLONIES (yes, big rocks with 50-100 polyps) $10

  8. This weekend only, almost all of our corals will be $10 or less!  Colonies will be fragged on demand!  Tons of freebies with purchase!

We need to clean out our 650 gallon coral system.  We will be completely redoing it in the coming weeks, meaning everything has to go!

Escape from the rain and come in 2:00-6:00 today and 10:00-4:00 tomorrow.  We also just received almost 250 fish, currently going through our state of the art quarantine system, come check them out.

    Looking forward to seeing you!

Happy Fathers Day!  On top of our aforementioned deals, all dads will get a free frag when they come in today!  Come with the family or bring a picture!

  9. Echoing what others have said, Oceanic advertises that only the bottom of their tanks is tempered.  Keep in mind that drilling will void any kind of warranty.  Here at the shop we modified a biocube by making it rimless and stuck a Kessil over it.  It's primarily an LPS tank and we've got a few frogfish and a lionfish in it.  It's a pretty sweet looking mod!

  10. 16*8*12 are the dimensions on that.  Don't quote me on 8 gallons, I just guessed.

Dimensions on the 20L are 30*12*13, seems that it would fit through the front, but maybe too long?  I don't believe we have anything else yet that is already sump ready, but we do have a few other tanks laying around that can easily be made into a sump.  We could help you with that.  As far as a reservoir, the "8g?" would be perfect for that, otherwise we have a few buckets of various sizes that could work.  We also have a bunch of pumps that would be perfect for use as an ATO.

Swing by this Friday or Saturday if you can and we'll see if we can brainstorm something for you!

    Thanks,

    Sam

  11. Check out all that we have in stock this weekend!!!  Also, we want to know what we should stock more of.  Please fill out the survey!

We are open Friday 2-6 and Saturday 10-4.

Check out our show room where we showcase many aquarium options and all the latest in lighting technology.  Purchase fish knowing that they have gone through the most thorough quarantine practices available.  Take a look at our new, state of the art jellyfish aquarium.  Interested in breeding fish?  Our seahorses are breeding and we have dozens of babies aged 2 weeks to 3 months.  Want sustainable live rock that you KNOW doesn't have parasites?  We carry marco rocks and seed it ourselves!  Pick and choose your favorite pieces.

Need cheap equipment?  We have lots of used equipment we're trying to sell! http://wamas.org/forums/topic/66524-cheap-used-equipment-tanks-and-sumps/

  14. We have 2 full buckets and 1 half bucket of free sand available.  This has been in an established tank for 7 years, so we recommend rinsing!

  15. Hey guys!

We unexpectedly had a male seahorse give birth this morning. we are in the process of hatching out some BBS, but were hoping that one of you might have a nice sized batch for today? We will be happy to trade you one of our $10 coral frags (And we still have some nice ones left from Black Friday!). We need enough to feed about 2 dozen seahorse fry.

We are open today from 2:00-6:00 if anyone has a batch they would like to trade us!

    Thanks!
