  1. Great build so far, can't wait to see the pics!
  2. Awesome build, the tank looks awesome! If possible I would get a booster pump and then 'T' the water supply to each RO. I think the production would increase that way. I can only imagine how long it will take to mix 600 gallons.
  3. Power consumption is the driving factor with DC pumps. I've been waiting for these to prove their durability so I can hook one up to a closed loop system. Having multiple contollable dc pumps on a closed loop system could easily convince me to remove my powerheads.
  4. I would just let your tank take it's natural course, moving too fast is a recipe for disaster in this hobby. Get a good test kit and start adding livestock when you have 0 nitrites, and managable nitrates.
  5. Mix your new water to 1.025 and also top off with salt water. IMO 40 gallons out of 250 will not shock your coral.
  6. Once you get a controller you will wonder why you didn't get one sooner. I have a profilux, but many APEX owners are giving great reviews. I would pick one of those 2 as I've had some bad experiences with reefkeeper customer service.
  7. +1 above, for wooden floor joists anything above a 125 scares me unless you really know what you are looking at. A 375 on the 5th floor is awesome! They must have a really big elevator, or you have some really nice friends to carry that beast up the stairs
