Couple of Quick Tank Shots, the sump is cleaner as the return hose is shorter and the refugium light is not pictured but it was all I had

Tom the skimmer works very well. Took a little time to dial in but seems on track now. It pulls much more than my aquamaxx HOB-1 ever did. Already I don't have near the nutrients in the tank as my glass cleaning is way down. I bought a 2lf reactor to run gfo but I'm going to hold off on installing and see how it goes. I was hoping it would fit in the life reef cylinder holders but no such luck. I may get his cylinders to run carbon down the road but I'm going to wait as if it's not needed why run it. The only downside is with the new pumps in the sump my temperature has jumped up so I'm going to plumb in my chiller that I've got from my last tank this week. Very happy with this system from Life Reef I'll try to post some pictures of the finished set up too.

New addition! Awesome packaging & Service from Jeff @ Lifereef. Assembly done!!! I will be doing a leak test hopefully this weekend. Then I am going to plumb into the cabinet and get the sump and refugium filled with correct temp and parameters and let the fun begin. I am really excited to switch out the HOB Refugium as I have had issues with it breaking the siphon. This filter box is supposed to be very fail safe from all I have researched so that will be a nice peace of mind. Will give a review after its up for awhile of this and the whole set up. I got a CLF1 Sump with Mag 12 return, SVS2-24 Skimmer 9.5 mag running it, Nano Prefilter & overflow box, 20 x 12 x 18 custome refugium with Coral life 20" light. Should add about 26 gallons when done. I am also waiting on the 2LF 150 to start running GFO. I am hoping this will slide into the 3" cylinder rack in the sump as well.

I got a call from Jeff at Life Reef that he had a cancellation and that my sump is shipping out early as in now instead of May. I spent the weekend getting ready. Here is a update of the progress to date. This should almost double my water volume. Adding about 26 gallons. Im really excited as this will really clean up the DT as well.. Current tank & Cabinet All HOB Cleared out and re wired ( Hanging wires and mess are still in use but will clear out on switch Moved power strips to behind front lip of cabinet Moved Eco tech Controller into cabinet Mounted the Ballest Going to keep the top off system for now with BRS 50ML doser & Timer but I am planning on going Tunze Osmo--Also switching to the Tall thin canisters for the 2 part from BRS The cardboard is a cut out of the units coming the sump & refugium. Will post pictures once set up

Loved the progressin shots. Saw your moving this month what's your plan on breaking this down and re setting it up? It's always a bear to do this no matter the tank size.

Thanks

Tom , thanks I agree about the purple plasma, one day in the tank and it just pops already. I'm really excited about the sump, skimmer and Fuge coming from Jeff -- just wish it could be sooner but I'm sure it will be worth the wait. As far as the Radion goes ---do it!!! I'm so happy with the growth I am getting and the colors are starting to pop and I'm only running up to 65%. Each time I move it up it just keeps getting better. This fall when the tank upgrades to the rimless. 33x23x22. I can't wait to have 2 over that span and see the growth.

I finalized my order for my sump , skimmer and refugium with Jeff at LifeReef. Got the CLF1 sump with SVS2-24 in sump skimmer with probe rack. Also a custom 12 x 20 x 18 refugium. Should deliver around May. This will clean up the look of the DT big time by removing all the HOB skimmer, refugium and set me up for the later tank expansion. Wanted feed back on the refugium..I am leaning on going bare bottom with just Cheato but thought I'd hear some feedback. My Ecosystem has sand and Cheato now and I find the detritus piles up in there. This is probably do to the lack of flow due to the small pump set up. I wont have that problem in this new system as it will T off the return which is a mag 12.

Roni this is an awesome build all the way through. I'd like to have that curly maple from the stand on a guitar LOL. Seriously very nice tank.
-
Roni thanks and yeah that has been fun doing the growth progression shots with the radion. I just checked out your thread really nice tank! I'm going to be upgrading this to a rimless later this year and was deciding between miracles and reef savvy and have been leaning toward miracles. I really like the blue background on your tank too.

Novi, thanks I got them at the winter meeting. They were brought by Pacific East Aquacluture. They got them from Proaquatix.

Looks good like the new frag at the top. I'm in line for a stand alone Profilux dosing pum,. Let me know what you think of it once it's running. Like the Fuge had no idea you were planning that. The JBJ Nano LED is nice for a small Fuge.
