  1. I also do use TM hydrometer to calibrate Milwaukee MA887 like every two months or so. So far, they both are lining up close to each other.
  2. I've been telling my friends that if they could do it with Hawaii, they will eventually try to do it everywhere else.
  3. Then the powder brown tang will establish in the tank and may become the bully. If you have a QT tank, you can put both of them in there for a while. Then introduce both at the same time back to the main tank.
  4. It is still active. I think it's slow down a little, since he just has surgery. I'm sure it will get updated soon.
  5. If you are WAMAS member, you can put your name on the list to borrow the PAR meter.
  6. Yeah look like a limpet. Good cleanup crew until they get into all pumps.

  11. I just order the knock off SCA-302 skimmer for my 75gal tank. I'll let you know how it goes when the skimmer is here. They have a pretty good reviews on reefcentral. http://yhst-129902485823005.stores.yahoo.net/skimmers.html
  12. May I ask what camera and lens you are using? Thanks,
  13. Yah.. same here. I had my Nova extreme T5 fixtures for couples months. Then after seeing a few tanks with LEDs, I had to let them go and went with LEDs.
  14. Yes, I don't believe when I turned it on the first time either.
  15. Tank shot with only two E.Shine 60W LEDs. Tank shot with both E.Shine and Reef Brite 40" Blue LED.
  16. Silver Spring, MD ... couple blocks away from Blair HS
  17. I'm waiting for my sis to come over tomorrow with her best camera. Will post the pix soon.
  18. +1 Just hook up the 48" Reef Brite Blue to my current LEDs, and the color is awesome.
  19. I just bought one from http://www.premiumaquatics.com. The package is sitting at home right now. I can't wait to get home and fire that baby up.
  20. I have a bottle of FE left from my flatworm outbreak awhile ago. You are welcome to have it. I got home from work around 7:30pm. I'm in the Silver Spring area.
  21. Six lines can also be a hit or miss. I went with six lines before I did FE. Mine didn't touch any of them.
  22. Be careful to dose FE. Make sure to siphon them out as much as you can. Also have carbon and water change on hand. The toxic from their death can nuke your tank. I've learned from my mistake...
  23. I may head up to Reson during this weekend too. I will stop by your store and check them out. Thanks,
