I have never heard of an ich treatment lasting quite that long although I will continue reading up on it and correct my problems. As for the shark he was only temporary and was going somewhere else very quickly. The 55g has a 30g refugium on it where all the live rock is stored so the lion fish has the entire 55g to himself. Although I am moving him very soon no one would accept him at the time and they were going to toss him into the ocean. I just do not see an aquarium lion fish making it in the polluted ocean so I think I saved his life. He may be a little anger for a few weeks but at least he isnt floating up on shore as I see it I guess. Pictures I can throw on in a few hours.

As for the Anenome's themselves there are 3 of which at different levels of the tank... I have seen each one do this atleast 1x in the last week... they all have been in the tank less than 2 weeks... but nothing was changed with the tank no sudden changes

Is this just Anenome waste? i read numerous articles on ppl never having seen an anenome doing this after decades... is this maybe that i watch my fish to much? or is this bad and shouldnt be happening

I have one volitian lionfish (10in) & Dwark Fu-Chic lionfish or coralfish (3in) and 1 butterfly (2in)... I do not plan on buying more fish for a couple years.. My lionfish gets to aggressive towrds new fish... So i resorted to corals, and i did impulse buy but Mr. Coral had to good of a deal to pass up so i went with pics listed below... I still need a ALK & Magn testing kits but that will be got next time i make it to LPS As for these Salifert tests this im about to google Hopefully I picked good corals i dont want to see anything die... or git nipped at do you think these are at risk of butterfly fish

Hey i got a question for all you hardcore and even softcore coral keepers... What testing kits do you have handy, and how often do you test... I spend approx. 4hrs a day just watching it and wanna make sure i have every corner covered b4 turning it fully... i ordered from mr coral and i took his advice and got afew starter corals, but thats no reason for them to die So i recently bought a Entek RO 6 stage filter w. lifetime warranty, for all water changes and top offs... im looking into a calc reactor but need to research it alot further b4 i even attempt to use it sounds confusing and dont wanna orderdose my tank... Looking for essential & useful items for coral keeping, and testing

I have been having a similar problem (except my skimmer cant sit inside my refugium) so i keep checking and one day it drained like 6g onto my floor... I think its doing better now but yesterday i looked and it was overflowing but just rolling back into the skimmer and out into tank... luckily

I clean glass for a living and the wool he said #0000 will never scratch your glass what so ever... but as for the metal eventually rusting in the tank i dont know... id put it there for cleaning then remove it great idea didnt even think of that

Are these beter nutrition then goldfish? and can u buy them live?

I have a Volitan Lionfish just about 12in in diameter every direction (w/ fins), he eats freshwater goldfish; which i keep contained with my 150g freshwater b4 feeding... so too the point i hate keeping goldfish in my freshwater tank bc i dont want disease to get in there, or them die and raise my levels, not to mention thier waste... so i would like to feed my lionfish something of more nutritional value... and something that wont hurt the lionfish if he does eat a diseased gold fish... Now this lionfish is very picky, he lets squid pieces bounce off right his face.... but if its a dead goldfish half into the tank not even left my fingers yet he's already on it... I live in myrtle beach and im going to go shrimping when season comes and try the dusk saltwater shrimp there... i use them for eatting as well... but till then is there any kind of saltwater feeder, less disease ritten fish i can buy in bulk at least a dozen for under 3 bucks.. he eats like 6 a day

Are they in freshwater? bc i have never seen a Petco. Petsmart or anything of the sort keep a saltwater section... if it is in saltwater thank god if not save them lol

Is there a good overall food? Like for freshwater theres mixture cubes... or are cubes overall not good at all? And one last question of my many... If my tanks doing fine, and my water is testing fine for the following (Nitrates, Copper, Ammonia, calcium, Salt, PH, The other N one) should i change my tank around while the fish are in it? or should i let a friend hold the fish and make all these changes?

Hey i have recently been thinking about moving the fish in my 150g into a 75 or 90g aquarium and turning my 150g into a saltwater tank... as iv heard the bigger the easier to maintain... So my point being as you all im ure know 1 1/2#'s / Gallon would cost me one butt whooping of an investment... so i been looking online for quality liverock @ less than 8/lb have you guys had an good experiences with internet liverock? do you have any sites i could check out any maybe purchase a good deals worth? or would you say always stay away from the internet liverock?

No not a bala its a Columbian shark... aka Black tipped cat shark.. at least thats what the LPS had it listed as... hes cool though lol maxes out at 12' hes about half way in the 150g
