What kind of fishing line do you prefer... was wondering any good ideas on catching my fish...have a 135gl tank with alot of LR. only have 5 fish. hard time catching freshwater fish ...lol.......2tangs medium size....2 clowns, and a blennie... One of my tangs has ICH, wanna pull all fish and put into hypo tank!

was running fresh water last year, ahve some left over supplies...HOB filter. heater, airbox.......now i need to get a tank!. how do i keep my p.h in line..??....baking soda..?? how long should i keep fish in there....6 weeks..??

have 5 fish.....P.B tang, Yellow Tang, 2 clowns, 1 blennie also fire shrimp and snails and hermits. wanting to set up a hypo salinity tank to quarantine fish in for 6+ weeks. What size tank should i got with..?? Bought a 10gl tank, before i realized it was 2 small, gonna return it! how big of tank do i need for all fish to be comfy..?? have done alot of reading on hypo salinity, but any hints would be great!

Figured out the issue, the buld is bad,. Lucky me its still under the 90 day warrenty time frame.... bought replacement bulbs from drforsterandsmith.com....having a huge sale on lighting! but gonna get replacement from current also for back ups

need a mg test kit, potasium test, also selcon....LFS out of tests, need a few other things that LFS dont have either!

One of my bulbs/ ballast are acting up......the ballast isn't making a grunting noise when you turn it on.....and the bulb has a bolt of light going threw it but never fully lights up!......anyone else had this issue......Light is rather new, bought in Feb. of this year.

I had the same problem with the " black stuff"....was only growing on 1 rock, pulled rock, cooked it for a week and its been fine....also had 2 small spots growing on my sand bed...removed the sand area around it and everything has been fine!

Great answer!......so if im understanding this correctly, Kalk, and Cla reactor would replace a 2 part dosing system like B-ionic..?

what does Kalk reactors and Cal reactors do.? How do i know if i need one.?.. have quiet a few LPS and SPS also some softies. just haven't found the answers Ive been looking for as to WHY or When you would use them.

light build up on heaters, looks like salt! need to get a magnesium test! have no idea what they are! Will added calcium bring my alk down..?? should i just dose calcium additive only from the 2 part b-ionic compound.?

Ran test today....first thing was p.h was a little high..8.6...everthing else's look great. Nit,Nir,Am, phos,..sal -.025..Calicum is low340 -350 (2 tests) Alk way high 11.5 -11.8. Dosing B-Ionic every three days. Last dose Saturday, and i do weekly 25gl water changes. Only other supplements i use is Iodine from bright-well. What can i do to fix this mess..??? Any help would be great ! Thanks

Some hair algae on LR when i got it. Was told to leave it alone. (bad move)..Anyways, when i first started tank i was using TAP water. Witch i was told it will take some time to remove all the junk from tap water threw water changes. Witch is causing my hair algea problem. Have 12 hermits, 2 blennies, 6 emeralds, 2 clowns and a Powder blue tang. Don't know how a hippo and my powder blue would get along.? The mushrooms are already on a small piece of rock now. My question is how do i remove Mushrooms for the small piece of rock without killing mushrooms...more or less transplanting them else were in tank..>?

question...I have a small mushroom colony on a piece of rock. The rock is extremely covered in hair algae. Looks awful and looks to be choking out mushrooms. Is fraging the best option, or what elses should i do?
