Yeah Nori disappears because of the rabbitfish and tangs, but I'll try it.
And yeah, he's trouble. Knocks over everything.

This is my clean up crew. One giant snail.
I am a little concerned that there is not enough food in the tank for him (?) to eat. Any ideas on what to feed?

Other than maintaining proper alk, calcium and magnesium and good water quality, has anyone seen good results with feeding or adding supplements?

That sucks! Get it over with and pull out all the rock and catch the bugger. I had to do that recently and it was wort it.

I have several power heads in my sump. One creates flow for some frags, I have two pumps that power the skimmer and another that pumps water through a carbon reactor. They all help flow. It is not uncommon to have flow in the sump if you want to keep detritus suspended. Some people choose to have a very calm sump so that detritus collects and can be siphoned out.
You want to do whatever works best for your filtration system and maintenance schedule.

Where are people buying salt these days? All on line?

I just used it 2 weeks ago. Skimmer went nuts for at least 5 days. Same procedure as above. Left skimmer cup off and let the bubbles just flow into the sump. Did a water change on day 3 and just waited for the skimmer to come back to normal. Took longer than I thought it would.
Jeffvt, what skimmer are you using and how did it handle the chemiclean?

Well, I am considering a major overhaul of all of my equipment and part of that might include a new controller. I have an old APEX but I never really loved the interface. I'm not a tech person. I'll probably include a new controller in my plans if I can find one that has an easy user experience.
I'm actually look for help with this new build. Thinking about hiring a consultant for re-design of my fish room and installation of new equipment.

I am no longer able to keep up with my calcium needs by dosing. Is a calcium reactor the next logical step? If so, any recommendations?

My tank is still running but I've neglected it for a for years. Now I am just getting over Dinos and exciting to give it some love again.
