  1. I would get any hard or sharp nail heads etc hammered in before I place the plywood on. I place plywood or osb board under all my reef tanks. It seems to help with the weight distribution and also adds a layer of protection in case of unexpected spills.
  2. Here are some pics I uploaded so you all can see the progress of my 75 gallon stand I just about got done. This is my 3rd stand I have built and I must say they just keep getting better. I hope you all enjoy the pics. I have also come to the conclusion that if you are a WAMAS member and are in bad need of a stand for personal use that is. I will build all members one for cost. This is a 75 gallon stand built for the Heavy load of a reef tank and it cost me under $80 for the material. The Pics http://www.wamas.org/forums/index.php?s=&a...m&album=418

Well it is reinforced to the max. But I am putting a floor in and will be mounting my electrical surge protectors tonight. I am also putting this setup on a dedicated circuit. I will get 1 or 2 more shots of it when I am totally done.

I got the doors made and stained the whole stand. Its looking good with my new 75 gallon marineland tank w/ built in overflow.

  8. Do you have any other wire between the two lights that is a different color? You need a wire there to complete the circuit. It also must be at least 14 gauge for a 120v circuit but I recommend a 12 gauge wire on all 120V circuits. Are all 4 lights turning on then off?
  9. It's not local but they have Black EggCrate Silver or White. But you have to buy a case at a time. Maybe we should look into a group buy and get a case. I would like a few pieces for my frag tank I am getting ready to start soon. Here is the link http://www.goodmart.com/products/1101448.htm $135.00 a case plus shipping.
