Hi Rik Been busy, got a new job at the Aussie's, 16th & Mass, sweet place to work. i'll have to get you down for a happy hour soon. Tank is recovering nicely from a massive pH spike, don't have any recent tank pics, will have to get some this weekend, had a recent pocillipora spawn/reproduction event, have it growing in at least a dozen places i can see. The missing RBTA never re-appeared. Sorry for hijacking Bemmer.

Ouch Tony Glad everything in the tank is ok. I've had problems with several heaters except my current one 500watt Finnex , so far (touch wood) it has worked flawlessly, although i'm sure there are horror stories about those too.

I have bought several corals, clams and one fish from Dr Mac, online and at his store. Awesome, it's well worth the drive to Salisbury just to see the setup, friendly, informative and willing to discuss just about anything Reef related. The only draw back is they don't have a Byron to do inpromptu "The boss is away, 50% off sales" HTH Anton

Ditto what Dave said only thing i can think of would be your Reactor supply pump isn't supplying enough or the pipe is blocked and some of the water siphons out the effluent pipe maybe????? got any pics of the setup Anton

I use Ozone on my 240 Feed straight into my skimmer intakes and out over carbon as with most people. When i started using it earlier in the year, i noticed a massive improvement in water clarity, and it has helped with a reduction of algae in the tank, which could be down to a number of factors, but i only really started to notice a substantial drop after adding the Ozonizer. I don't run it hard, some people seem to like to run ORP at about 400 to 450 from what i vaguely remember (please correct me if i'm wrong), i keep mine at about 250, everything is doing well, no ozone smell anywhere. I still do regular 10% water changes every week. I have the Red Sea Aquazone 200 HTH Anton
