  2. Thanks Zotzer and Traveller7! So this anemone can be split if I want, but needs to go into a separate recovery system and only in half?

  4. I bought this tank in Feb from someone. It has not moved at all since I got the tank. It has never bothered anything. It has gone through alot as this 220 reef is actually my first saltwater tank. Since I got the tank I have replaced the bulbs and added tunze's. It sits directly under a 175 14k Metal Halide and seems to be happy... I think he moved an inch or two to the right the other day... first time ever... I did replace the two center bulbs to 250 10k MH so it appears to be moving closer to the stronger light?? http://www.wamas.org/forums/index.php?act=...si&img=3001 bottom view

  9. I have an enomous neon green carpet anemone (about 12"-14"). It is awesome. However, it moved a few inches towards the SPS yesterday and I wanted to know if I can split it/make it smaller. So, I was thinking to have someone with experience come over, cut this thing into 4 of them, give the person who splits it one, and sell the other two.... it is securely attached to a LARGE piece of rock. I never see these in stores or in peoples photos/tanks... and it is an amazing specimen. So can this be done? Any volunteers?

  16. Hello All! My name is Hunter. I am in Leesburg, VA 2 miles from Gilberts Corner. I have a 220 Gallon Reef tank that I set up about 3 months ago (bought complete set up) and now I am adding frags! I have 15 sps frags I just added, plus I have a HUGE brain Coral, plate coral, 2' toadstool leather, carpet anenome, queen angel (yes I know), p tang, y tang, cromis, 4 urchins, kenya tree, 2 xenia, etc. I would like to get some COOL frags like the ones at BRK but I will hang myself before I pay $70.00 for a tiny frag. I noticed many members in my area (Haymarket, Leesburg, Ashburn, Purcellville), and I have been over to Bemmer's house already. By the way, her tank is awesome... SO.... I want to introduce myself and check out your tanks, and buy/trade/aquire some cool frags, as many as possible, I want them all (doesn't everyone). If you know how to frag a brain coral or leather, bring me some SPS frags and I have the hookup (you can frag for me the first time so I can learn). Also, I could use some knowledgable people to tell me what to do better for my tank. I am also lookin for a hippo tang, naso tang, sailfin tang, and possibly another angel (yes I know). I can trade Marble/Granite Polishing for cool stuff for my tank. Thanks!!
