a plain neoprene mouse pad. Is that safe to put in the sump?

Hi guys, I have a friend who has mag 24 as his return and he doesn't like the noise it's making. Any ideas as to keeping the noise level down? Surprisingly the mag 24 did not come with foam pad that other mags come with. Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, I am finally almost finished with my 500 reef and 360 fish only. Unfortunately, I lost most of my corals, so don't expect to see a lot of corals in the new tank. Guess I will have to start all over again. Here are some pics. Thanks Here are some more pics.

Where is your air valve? It looks like it does not have the air valve that should come with it. If it does not have the proper air valve for it, I would get it. Also, I would change it to mag 7 and I would wait few days to break in, but usually the Aqua C's work almost immediately.

Aqua C 180 is supposed to run on Mag 7 and you have mag 12 on it. It may be that the pump is way too strong for it. HTH

I would be interested in some fish too. Do you have a list or can we just give you out wish list?

Steve, If you have SPS in your tank, they should be more sensitive to the changes in alkalinity level. If all your SPS are doing fine, then I would look for some other stuff. As Chip has mentioned, your light may be the culprit. The brains in general do not require a lot of light. You may want to move it to some place where there is less light than where it is now. I would still check the alk level, however.

Sorry to hear that, Pandora. :( That is really sick. I truly feel for you. I know of a person in Harrisonburg, VA who filed a claim against the power company. He did not get what he deserved but he did get a small amount for compensation. Worth a try. If you start back up, come on by and I will donate some stuff to you.
