ReefdUp January 2, 2022 Share January 2, 2022 Hey all! Since I rescue a lot of dying corals, I spend a LOT of my time dipping. This was getting old, so I built a magnetic stirrer coral dip station! I wrote up more detailed instructions on my website (link below), but it's pretty straightforward thanks to ChickenHaunt over at Thingiverse. It's not exactly the cheapest DIY project (~$60 or more depending on exact supply choices), but it was fun and saves me a LOT of work. Plus, it works really well at getting medication into the corals' nooks and crannies. Here is the Thingiverse print file. I used a different container, but it works really well! If you'd like more details, including links to all the supplies, my website is here: https://coraleverafter.org/?p=713 Hope this helps someone! YHSublime January 6, 2022 Share January 6, 2022 Nice, smart idea. I have a couple plate stirrers I use for Saccharomyces cerevisiae starters.
